Radio Panini was born from the shared vision of Italians Francesco Pastorelli and Simone Favorito, who first crossed paths while studying at Copenhagen Business School in 2016. What began as a friendship rooted in music, culture, and late-night ideas has grown into a community driven cultural space nestled in the heart of Copenhagen’s vibrant meatpacking district.
Launched with a 15-hour opening event, Radio Panini was designed as more than a radio station or a panini bar, it’s a synergy of community, cuisine, and creativity. A gathering place for people who cherish quality music, good food, and the energy that comes from bringing people together. Here, culture isn’t just consumed, it’s co-created.
Today, Radio Panini broadcasts every Saturday from Jolene Bar, a legendary club located in the meatpacking district, Copenhagen. Jolene has become our weekly home, a place where DJs, bar staff, artists, regulars, and first-timers all play a part in shaping the experience.
Copenhagen’s underground music scene, especially electronic music — is in a moment of transformation. The city has seen a rise in influential local artists gaining global attention, and Radio Panini is proud to be woven into that cultural shift.
At Radio Panini, we believe in community over competition, in food as a connector, and in music as the heartbeat of a city. Our Saturdays are loud, warm, unpredictable, and full of life, just the way we like them.
